ARTISTS
Interested in applying to be an artist at Super Yaoi Mart? Apply for a table!
Applications will be open 6/27 - 7/12. See details below:
Artist can choose from a 6' Full table or a 3' Half table that is shared with another artist. Full tables come with 2 chairs for the artist and helper. Half tables have only 1 chair.
Please note, if you would like to share a Full table, each artist should apply individually for a Half table. If both are accepted, preference to be placed together can be noted.
If you are a doujinshi Circle and would like to share a Half table, please apply as one Circle and/or share all the participating artists' portfolios.
6' Full Table - $80
3' Half Table - $40
---------------------------------
Entries are accepted via juried process. The following criteria will be used to ajudicate applications:
1. Percentage of relevant BL work
2. Original vs Fanart
3. General quality of art and merchandising
To keep the event focused and catered towards what attendees are expecting, tables must feature a minimum of 50% BL related work.
Artists featuring Original BL works are also more likely to be chosen to promote indie artists and creators!
General quality of art and merchandizing will also be evaluated, however this is a more broad evaluation to ensure that artists featured have a basis in creating works for vending and be able to commit to selling product on the day of the event.
If you are a creator of written works, please apply with a sample of your writing.
NOTE: Your portfolio does not need to be curated to this criteria at the moment, it just needs to include a sample of the type of BL works you will vend at the event.
